How to See the About Dialog and Version Information in Office 2007


With the Ribbon system and completely different menus in Office 2007, most users probably don’t know where to look for the About Dialog and Version Information of your Office programs. In this article, we’ll discuss this to you.

1.      Click the Office Button and select Word Options.

2.      Under the Resources category, click the About button beside about Microsoft Office Word 2007.

3.      You should be able to see the About Dialog and Version Information.

This is a nifty trick if you’re confused as to what version you are running and don’t know where to look for it. Take note: it also works in other Office programs.
